This page explains one way to export iMovie projects to Google Drive.

Before being able to save items to your Google Drive, you will have to log into your k-12  email account through the Google Drive app. If you have already done this, skip to Step 4.

iMovie trailers and Movies are too large for the iPad to send through email. Using your Google Drive with your k-12 email account is the best way to save your movie projects off of the iPad.

When you open the Google Drive App, it will ask you to log in with your account. Use your K-12 email acocunt and passwords.

Once you are logged in to your K-12 email account, you will see a list of your files on your drive. If you have many files on your Google Drive, it may take a while to sync. You can exit the Google Drive App by pressing the iPad main button.

When you have completed your iMovie Project, you will see it on the main screen of the iMovie App. Although you are able to play it through iMovie, you need to first export it into a .mov format before sharing it.

To do this, tap the Share icon on the bottom of the screen, and select share movie to Camera Roll.

You will be asked to select a file size for your video. The larger the video, the more awkward and time consuming that file will be to work with. For that reason, selecting "Large - 540p" is wise for trailer projects. This will make your video similar to a high-quality YouTube video.

Once the formatting has finished it will be in your camera roll.

To put the video in your Google Drive, open the Google Drive App. Tap the " + " icon and select "Upload Photo or Video."

Choose the video you just made. If you have a lot of pictures on your Camera Roll, you may have to search for it. Videos will have a small video camera icon in the corner of the thumbnail image.

Once selected, you will be given the opportunity to preview the video to to make sure you are choosing the correct one. If it is the correct video, tap "Use" and your video will start uploading to your Google Drive.

This may take a while, and the progress will be shown in the bottom left corner of the Google Drive App (near your account information).

That's it. Once it is uploaded, you can access the video from anywhere you access your Google Drive.

You can view, share, or download the video like you would with any other Google Doc.
